The course syllabus for Fall 2023 (112-1) is at https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ug0goejq5b0q62tmftfhm/GMBA-PS112-1_syllabus230812.pdf?rlkey=xsp8vub7a7iair5gz77vteopa&dl=0
A quick summary:
(1) This is an intensive course whose meetings are on 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, and 11/4. This course is taught in English. Non-GMBA students are welcome, but priority will be given to GMBA students.
(2) We run this course with flipped classroom. The instructor will provide before-class lecture videos that convey basic ideas before each lecture. Lecture time will be used mainly for in-class discussions, presentations, quiz, etc.
(3) Thanks to flipped classroom, lectures start at 13:00 rather than 9:00 on the first three days and 10:30 on the last day. However:
(3A) The meeting time in the afternoon starts at 13:00 rather than 13:30, i.e., the afternoon lecture times are 30 minutes longer than the ones suggested by the GMBA office.
(3B) B. One is expected to finish the before- and after-class videos by themselves. The total length of all before- and after-class videos is around 150 minutes in each week. In other words, this is not a course that allows students to earn two credits by attending four half-day lectures. Those who do not watch lecture videos will learn nothing from this course, and with high probability get low grades.
Those who want to ask for a registration code may contact the TA Sho Ishida at r11749069@ntu.edu.tw through her/his NTU e-mail. Sho will record these requests, and the instructor will make the decision about whether to accept all students. |
